The next day we laid low and caught up on a few DVDs and updated the ride report. Timmer helped me change the coolant in my bike.

Timmer also had an idea on how to patch up Amanda’s fairing using glue and nylon rope
First, they drilled holes along the sides of the crack. Are you sure this is a good idea?
Then they used the nylon rope to stitch the crack together by weaving it through the holes
Glue was then applied for added reinforcement. Voila, problem solved.
For dinner, Timmer brought us along as guests to a BMW riding group dinner at Tutta Bella Neapolitan Pizzeria
Everyone we met there was super friendly despite not riding BMWs ourselves.
A wound needs mending.
Battle scars add character.
Frankenbike is born.
