February 11th-15th, 2010 pt.3

I received an email from my Dad the other day telling us to find a Chinese restaurant and eat there to celebrate Chinese New Year, which happens to fall on the same day as Valentine’s Day.  Sweet!  Two occasions for the price of one dinner outing.
We wanted the best bang for our dollar so this was the place we went to.
We got our seafood cravings taken care of...

...our sushi...

...and everything else in between.
Heck, we even got crawfish boil here we missed out in Louisiana.  I'm sure it doesn't compare though.
Some dessert to settle the stomach.  They had the winter Olympics televised which caught our attention.
We then rode out to the Cofco Chinese Cultural Center to partake in the festivities.
There was a dragon dance performance
Some nice ornaments too
A lot of shop vendors were out on the streets.  Couldn't resist trying some of their stuff on.
Instant almond pudding!  A Chinese dessert and one of my favorites!  Just add hot water!
We took quite a few shots to get this pose right
Taking a break from all that walking
Ok, time to saddle up and get going...
...wait a minute.  This isn't my horse.
On our way back to Judoka’s we stopped over at a parking lot that had trailers and RV’s for sale.  It’s going to be hard to get back to a normal life after this journey.  Maybe if we buy one of these instead of a house, we’ll never be anchored down in one place.  Bah!  Plenty of time to think about that later.

Two birds with one stone.
Mmm, Chinese food Phoenix style.
Trailer park nomads.
