Just when we thought we’ve seen enough of Grand Canyon, Mike surprises us with a free helicopter ride over the canyon!All we needed to pay for was the fuel taxes; a whopping $6!This is crazy!We’re flying over the Grand Canyon!

There was a point when the pilot slowed down to a complete stop in mid air and the theme music from 2001: A Space Odyssey started to play in our headsets as the canyon slowly came into view. What a brilliant idea!
Smack! Another shot to the head; overwhelmed by the beauty of it all.
Every once in a while, the thought of "what happens if the engine dies on this thing?" jumped in my head. It'll be a looooong way down that's for sure.
So we didn't make it to the north rim, oh well, I guess this will do.
Wouldn't be able to make it to the north rim even if we tried; roads are closed and most of it is covered with this.
