The day before the wedding…
After another full day in the saddle, we
finally made it back in Toronto
Home at last. We snuck into my parents’ apartment and sat
in the living room. My mom was in the
kitchen and had to do a double-take when she saw us. It took her about 5 seconds of staring before
she realized it was us. She was so happy
to see us; so was dad.
It’s been awhile since we had mom’s
home-cooked meal.
Meeting our baby niece Kailee for the very first
