The next couple of days we were plagued
with wet weather. If we had a schedule
to adhere to, we’d press on. Since we
didn’t, why not wait it out. We have
plenty of things to do like playing cards…
…reading…
…eating when the rain stopped momentarily…
…and…I think this picture is self
explanatory. What goes in must come
out.
Amanda is gesturing that this will be the
third night we have camped here due to poor weather conditions. Judging by the expression on her face, rain
or shine, we are leaving tomorrow. I
couldn’t have agreed with her more.
The weather held up the next morning and we
managed to cross the provincial line into Labrador
We were pretty much all out of food and had
to resupply in Labrador City.
Surprisingly there’s a Wal-Mart at Labrador Mall where we had lunch and
tidied ourselves up as well
As we left the city limits, pavement
returned back to gravel once again
We rode for about an hour and decided to
call it a day. We camped in an abandoned
highway maintenance camp.
We had an apple for dessert and decided to
see who can throw the apple core the farthest.
Hmmmm looks like it might be a close one…
…but a winner was ultimately decided.
318 km
Held
up in the rain.
Tenth
and last province to join.
Oh,
the games we play.
